Cozy Kitchen Merge
Cozy Kitchen Merge
Cozy Kitchen Merge is a merge game with the timer taken out, which is most of the reason it works. A tray of empty slots sits in front of you, a queue of dishes waits along the bottom, and you place them one at a time wherever you fancy.
Three of the same dish next to each other turn into something better, and the recipe board on the wall keeps a record of everything you have discovered.
The trap is space. Place without thinking and the tray fills up with singles, which is the moment the fork becomes interesting. XMetaGame made it, and the kitchen it happens in is about as calm as a browser game gets.
How to play Cozy Kitchen Merge
Place, join, and make room
- Check the mini plates along the bottom. The one on the right is coming next.
- Click an empty spot on the tray to put it down.
- Get three or more of the same dish together and they merge into a new recipe.
- Read the board on the wall to see which dish follows the one you just made.
- When the tray is crowded, tap the fork, eat something to free a slot, then tap the fork again.
Controls
A left click puts a dish down, and a left click removes one while the fork is active. A tap does both on a phone. Every hundred points earns one eating point, so making room is something you work for rather than something you can spam.
Tips and strategy
Keep the edges for dishes you have plenty of and the middle for a pair waiting on its third. A merge needs all three touching, so a pair stranded in opposite corners has cost you two slots for nothing. Spend eating points on the singles that stopped turning up in the queue, never on a dish that is one plate away from joining.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a time limit in Cozy Kitchen Merge?
No. Nothing is counting down, so you can leave the tray mid thought and come back to it. The only pressure in the game is the space on the tray.
What does the fork do?
It switches the game into eating mode. Every dish is marked, you tap one to eat it and free its slot, and you tap the fork again to go back to placing.
How do I get eating points?
By scoring. Every hundred points gives you one, which is why clearing space feels like a reward rather than an undo button.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Everything is a single tap, and the tray is drawn large enough that placing a dish on a small screen is not fiddly.
